Nigeria's growth leaves elderly behind

As the urbanization takes place, it seems that something is left behind.
Traditionally people in Nigeria respect old people.
Today, however, elders are left behind and they can't get enough pension.
Though they invited the governors to the meeting to discuss about it, the governors didn't show up, saying that they were busy.
Young people in Nigeria seems that they don't care about the problem.
In Japan, if the governors did such a thing to the elders, they will be criticized by the public.
Sometimes the public opinions can change the government's point of view.
I think people in Nigeria should take the problem as theirs, not only for the elders.
I know that they are busy care about their situation in recession, but it is also
important to care about socially weak people, too.
